Hostage follows Dalton, portrayed by Suranne Jones, as she’s forced into an impossible dilemma: meet the kidnappers’ demand to resign, or risk her husband’s life. As the summit with the French President spirals into chaos, diplomatic ties fray, and national security takes a backseat to personal sacrifice.

Opposite Jones is Julie Delpy as Vivienne Toussaint, the French President, who’s simultaneously being blackmailed. The two leaders must navigate a fractured alliance, deep mistrust, and rising political pressure, all while an election looms and a mysterious health crisis surfaces.
