Amazon Prime Video has officially announced that Hazbin Hotel Season 2 will premiere on October 29, 2025. The reveal came during the “Hellaverse on Prime Video” panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, where creator Vivienne Medrano, known as VivziePop, shared exciting updates about the adult animated hit and its connected series Helluva Boss.
Produced by SpindleHorse, Bento Box Entertainment, A24, and Amazon MGM Studios, Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie Morningstar, the princess of Hell, as she attempts to rehabilitate demons through her eponymous hotel. The series stands out for blending Disney-esque animation with adult themes and musical numbers, earning both praise and controversy since its debut.
Season 1 premiered on Prime Video in January 2024, following a viral YouTube pilot released in 2019. The first season received generally positive reviews, especially for its distinctive art style, voice cast, and characters like Angel Dust and Husk. Some critics noted uneven pacing and polarizing musical elements, but the show’s dark humor and emotional arcs resonated with many fans.
The upcoming season promises new twists and tunes, with Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump joining the voice cast as Abel. This addition further emphasizes the show’s musical identity, which has become a defining element of the Hazbin Hotel experience.

The panel also confirmed that Helluva Boss, set in the same universe, will debut Seasons 1 and 2 along with a new episode on Prime Video beginning September 10. This strategic expansion of VivziePop’s “Hellaverse” solidifies its presence on the streaming platform.
