Sea of Monsters Unleashed in Percy Jackson Season 2 Teaser

Percy returns to a crumbling Camp Half-Blood as Disney+ unveils the official teaser for Season 2 of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” launching December 10, 2025.
The gods are stirring once more as Disney+ teases an epic new chapter in Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2. Set to premiere on December 10, 2025, the second season plunges viewers into the Sea of Monsters, adapting Rick Riordan’s beloved sequel and introducing a host of mythical threats, divine twists, and new characters.
With production wrapped in Vancouver earlier this year, the season promises a leap in scale. The teaser showcases battles aboard ironclad warships, wild chariot races, and the eerie lair of Polyphemus. Camp Half-Blood is under siege, Grover is missing, and Percy must face his most personal discovery yet, a Cyclops half-brother named Tyson.
Walker Scobell returns as Percy, alongside Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth and Aryan Simhadri as Grover. New cast members include Daniel Diemer as Tyson, Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace, and Courtney B. Vance taking on the role of Zeus following Lance Reddick’s passing. The season also features cameos from Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes and Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus.
Season 2 explores deeper emotional dynamics. Annabeth’s bond with Percy is evolving, Grover’s solo quest adds suspense, and Clarisse (played by Dior Goodjohn) takes a leading role in the mission to retrieve the Golden Fleece. These character arcs aim to push the series beyond Percy’s point of view, enriching the demigod world.
Visually, the series ups the ante with practical sets and rich environments. Locations like the cruise ship Princess Andromeda and Circe’s enchanted island (where Rosemarie DeWitt plays the sorceress) expand the universe while staying true to Riordan’s mythology.
The buzz doesn’t stop there. Disney+ has already greenlit Season 3, based on The Titan’s Curse. New fan-favorites Nico and Bianca di Angelo will make their debut, played by Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie. Production on the third season is expected to begin shortly.
The teaser, titled Percy Jackson and the Olympians | Season 2 Official Teaser, has already racked up over 24,000 views on YouTube. With the franchise growing in scale and confidence, Disney+ is clearly positioning Percy Jackson as a long-term fantasy cornerstone.
