New on Netflix: July 14–20, 2025 Releases

Netflix’s latest weekly drop delivers a global mix of gripping documentaries, returning fan favorites, and a major expansion into mobile gaming.
Netflix’s new content lineup for the week of July 14 to 20, 2025, highlights its increasingly international footprint and genre diversity. Among the biggest premieres is Apocalypse in the Tropics, a Brazilian political documentary examining evangelical power in the Bolsonaro era, released July 14 as a Netflix Original. Meanwhile, Netflix continues its investment in anime with weekly updates to Sakamoto Days (Season 1 – Volume 2).
On July 15, Netflix broadens its catalog with the full Jaws movie collection, an iconic quartet of shark thrillers, just in time for summer nostalgia. Also premiering is Entitled, a dark comedy starring Brett Gelman (Stranger Things), and Trainwreck: Balloon Boy, which adds a new episode to its rotating true story anthology.
True-crime enthusiasts will want to tune in on July 16 for Amy Bradley Is Missing, which revisits the mysterious 1998 disappearance of a young woman aboard a cruise ship. The same day sees the arrival of crowd-pleasing hits like Krampus, Mamma Mia!, and Ride Along 2, along with the action thriller Wanted.
July 17 and 18 deliver a flurry of international titles: from Egypt’s Catalog and Japan’s Chihayafuru: Full Circle to Colombia’s Delirium and Nigeria’s To Kill a Monkey. Notably, Spain’s pop culture icon Yurena gets a double feature treatment with the docu-film I’m Still a Superstar and the fictionalized Superstar series. The crime mystery UNTAMED, featuring Eric Bana and Sam Neill, is also likely to grab attention.
Netflix’s commitment to global content culminates with the release of Wall to Wall, a Korean drama starring Kang Ha-neul, and stand-up special Vir Das: Fool Volume on July 18. Horror fans can round out the week with The Cursed (Eight for Silver), arriving July 19.
In addition to TV and film, Netflix is pushing into mobile gaming with Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game, available on Android and iOS from July 15. This release ties into Netflix’s larger ambition of expanding its entertainment ecosystem beyond traditional streaming.
