Netflix Fall 2025 Lineup: From Stranger Things to Frankenstein

Netflix is closing out 2025 with its most ambitious slate yet, featuring fresh originals, returning hits, and long-awaited finales. From the final season of Stranger Things to gothic thrillers and holiday rom-coms, subscribers will have plenty to stream this fall.
Netflix has confirmed an expansive lineup spanning October through December 2025, offering a mix of drama, comedy, thrillers, and family programming. The streamer is doubling down on originals while balancing fan-favorite returns, ensuring a diverse catalog for a busy season of streaming.
October kicks off with a flood of premieres on the 3rd, including Old Dog, New Tricks, the thriller Monster: The Ed Gein Story, and the fantasy series Genie, Make a Wish. On October 10, highlights include Nouvelle Vague, a period comedy drama, and the psychological thriller The Woman in Cabin 10. Ubisoft fans can also look forward to Splinter Cell: Deathwatch on October 14.
The month continues with high-profile thrillers like Good News and She Walks in Darkness on October 17, alongside the animated comedy The Twits. By late October, Netflix unveils The Monster of Florence (October 22) and the gothic A House of Dynamite (October 24). Ballad of a Small Player, a psychological thriller, closes the month on October 29.
November sees the arrival of Frankenstein (November 7), positioning itself as Netflix’s gothic sci-fi centerpiece of the season. Thanksgiving weekend brings festive fare, including Jingle Bell Heist and Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 on November 26. This marks the beginning of the show’s final chapter, with additional volumes arriving in December.
December brings more family content and anticipated sequels. Troll 2 launches December 1, followed by Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery on December 12. The holiday season heats up with Emily in Paris Season 5 on December 18, and the back-to-back rollout of Stranger Things Season 5 Volumes 2 and 3 on December 25 and 31, ensuring fans end the year with Hawkins’ climactic finale.
While Netflix builds toward this packed fall schedule, some notable departures are also confirmed. Films like Dunkirk, The Boss Baby, and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will exit the platform by the end of August 2025, signaling the streamer’s continuous content shuffle.
